

BACK2GREEN is the first fashion collection of the music label Green Berlin. The vision of the team is to bring a sustainable awareness into the music industry through educating the consumers, but also inspire other artists to rethink about how products, especially merchandise is produced.

Part of the collection is made out of 100% RECYCLED OCEAN PLASTIC from the Mediterranean Sea by Barcelona from SEAQUAL®. The recycled plastic is collected by fishermen, chaffed and transformed into granules in Girona and turned into fibres and fabrics at textil Santanderina.
The other part of the collection is made out of ORGANIC COTTON from Turkey, certified with the GlobalOrganic Textile Standard (GOTS). That means the used cotton needs 90% less water than conventional material, is not treated with chemical pesticides and is manufactured locally. The certificate also includes Manufacturing under FAIR CONDITIONS for the employees through Fair Trade Guidelines.
Together with the team of Climate Partner , we found solutions to make our collection CARBON NEUTRAL as we support sustainable environmental projects to neutralise our footprint.

Unisex clothing is a small but effective way to roll out a line of conversation towards a broader dialogue about equality. Throughout time, society has dictated that men should dress in one way and women in another, but unisex fashion does away with all this. This is why most of the pieces from the BACK2GREEN collection are designed with no specific gender in mind.

Berlin is in the DNA of GREEN BERLIN. The topography of the city is one of the key design details which is executed in different but settled ways.
In the unisex longsleeve it brings more depth to the monochrome look through jacquard knitted material.

The oversized hoodie comes with a reflective
wording print BACK2GREEN on the chest.
The topography AOP is in contrast to the matte
base material.
The killer detail in this hoodie, is the sleeping
mask integrated in the hood for quick naps.





There is 2 Styles which are women specific pieces, dedicated to the women in the hip hop scene. In 2020, the music industry as well as the music genre Hip Hop specifically, is still a male driven business. What's the identity of women in this genre? Is it adopting masculine behaviour to survive or do we need to create space for more diversity? Or is this thought just the next dictation? The outfit is a proposal for a different identity, without wearing the "boyfriend look".
Through layering of different semitransparent fabrics, depth is given to the BACK2GREEN Windbreaker. The topography AOP printed on the backside of the lining is just visible on the outside while moving in the jacket.
